CAMP OF TESTIMONY

A Christ- centred conference/ retreat centre of the above fellowship is one vision that is presently peculiar to the HCFN family amongst the international HCF family.
Brief History: The Godly vision came to the National Action Team members through the then National Co-ordinator, Elder(Dr) Sam Amaechi, in the late 1980s. In the early 1990s (between 1992 to1994)the first portion of land, about 6 acres(32 plots)was acquired and the perimeter fencing done. On 27th September 2007 the project foundation stone was laid to God’s glory by Rt Rev Sam Chukwuka, a bishop of Anglican Church.
Through the effort of the pioneer and subsequent leaders with cooperation of membership, structures which included two residential hostels of 20 rooms each , a dining hall with modern kitchen, the security gate house , a chapel house ” Prayer House for the Nations” structured after a similar one at HCFI headquarters in South Africa, portable reticulated water supply from underground bore- hole system and overhead tanks and private power supply from electric power generators were put in place. Recently a conference auditorium with about 500 persons sitting capacity has been put to use although not fully completed.
The facility was open to the public in 2015 and patronage from individuals and groups has been in geometric proportions.
The facility is located iin a serene and hilly environment in a suburb of Okigwe Township in Imo State, Nigeria. There are fresh water flowing streams before and after the hill on which it is located. These with the hilltop provide a relatively cool atmosphere even during the very hot seasons.
The facility has been living up to her name ” TESTIMONY ” , a name which came as a revelation knowledge to Dr(Mrs) Grace Ele the wife of one of our former National Coordinators. Many who came to seek God for one pressing need or another have left with testimonies of joy.
